CMG at AMI Compounding & Recycling Expo 2026: Quality Regrind Creates Value
15 September 2026
CMG introduces the new EV92-160-T: when a production challenge becomes a new solution
8 October 2026
From 12 to 16 October 2026, CMG Granulators will be in Friedrichshafen for Fakuma, the international event dedicated to plastics processing. At hall A6, stand 6319, the G26-60 and S30-50-ET2 granulators will be on display, with a focus on injection moulding and special applications for film and edge trim in extrusion.
CMG Granulators will take part in Fakuma 2026 with a range of solutions dedicated to the recovery of production waste from plastics processing. The company’s presence at the exhibition will focus on injection moulding and the operational needs of processors: regrind quality, ease of handling and the integration of granulation into the production line.
Regrind quality becomes part of the production process
Not all regrind is the same. For injection moulding processors, recovering production scrap requires careful attention to the quality of the material to be reintroduced into the production process, as well as to granulator management and its integration into the production environment.
Homogeneous particle dimensions and the absence of dust are important factors in maximising the value of recovered material. At the same time, accessibility and ease of cleaning help simplify day-to-day operations and production changeovers.
These are the requirements at the heart of CMG's offering at Fakuma 2026: a granulation solution designed around the application and the results required by the processor.
G26-60 for injection moulding and blow moulding
The G26-60 is part of the G26 Series, developed for injection moulding, blow moulding and extrusion applications.
The range includes three standard models and more than 30 versions, allowing the configuration to be adapted to different production requirements. Key features of the series include:
- Super tangential cutting chamber and adjustable rotating knives for precise granulation.
- Quick opening and easy cleaning to facilitate machine maintenance.
- Low noise levels for integration into the production environment.
- Configurations suitable for all types of regrind evacuation systems, according to the required plant integration.
- High energy efficiency as one of the key design criteria of the range.
The G26-60 on display at Fakuma will provide an opportunity to discuss with the CMG team how to select the right granulator according to the material, scrap dimensions and production line requirements.
S30-50-ET2 for Film and Edge Trim in Extrusion Lines
Alongside the G26-60, CMG will showcase the S30-50-ET2, a solution for film and edge trim applications in extrusion. The model will be at the centre of the focus on customised solutions for special film applications.
Material, scrap geometry, feeding method and regrind management are all aspects that need to be assessed together in order to define a configuration consistent with the production process.
CMG's approach starts with dialogue with the customer: understanding the application and the constraints of the production line in order to identify a solution capable of integrating seamlessly into its operation.
