CMG at AMI Compounding & Recycling Expo 2026: Quality Regrind Creates Value

From 12 to 16 October 2026, CMG Granulators will be in Friedrichshafen for Fakuma, the international trade fair dedicated to plastics processing.
In Hall A6, stand 6319, CMG will showcase the G26-60 and S30-50-ET2 granulators, with a focus on injection moulding and special applications for film and edge trim in extrusion.
Regrind quality becomes part of the production process
Not all regrind is the same. For injection moulding processors, recovering production scrap requires careful attention to the quality of the material to be reintroduced into the production process, as well as to granulator management and its integration into the production environment.
Homogeneous particle dimensions and the absence of dust are important factors in maximising the value of recovered material. At the same time, accessibility and ease of cleaning help simplify day-to-day operations and production changeovers.

G26-60 for injection moulding and blow moulding
The G26-60 is part of the G26 Series, developed for injection moulding, blow moulding and extrusion applications.
The range includes three standard models and more than 30 versions, allowing the configuration to be adapted to different production requirements. Key features of the series include:
- Super tangential cutting chamber and adjustable rotating knives for precise granulation.

S30-50-ET2 for Film and Edge Trim in Extrusion Lines
Alongside the G26-60, CMG will showcase the S30-50-ET2, a solution for film and edge trim applications in extrusion. The model will be at the centre of the focus on customised solutions for special film applications.
Material, scrap geometry, feeding method and regrind management are all aspects that need to be assessed together in order to define a configuration consistent with the production process.
