The second edition of Solids, the trade show for granules, powder and bulk solids technologies, will be held on 5 and 6 June in Parma. Several workshops and round table discussions will be held during the event.

Giorgio Santella, CEO of CMG Granulators, on day 5 at 11:30 a.m., will be one of the speakers at the round table discussion organized by RePlanet, within the Search & Tech workshop, entitled “Plastic from waste to resource. Technology and innovation in recycling.”

Featured in Santella’s talk will be our innovative solutions for post-consumer plastic recycling, from EV916 and EV616 supergranulators to evacuation, dedusting and powder containment system.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Continuous Improvement & New Developments: New Evacuation & Dedusting Systems<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Along with its state-of-the-art granulator design, CMG Granulators is introducing a brand-new development: the new range of evacuation, dedusting and powder containment system solutions. The entire new range of the so called Regrind Evac Systems, starts at a capacity of 200 kg\/h and, through a selection of 10 different sizes, reaches the impressive capacity of 7.000 kg\/h.

The new evac systems operate under full vacuum, meaning the regrind material is evacuated from the granulator and is gently conveyed to a cyclone receiver and through a dedusting chamber, all of that under negative pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Energy efficiency at the highest level: Adaptive Motor Power<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All CMG units for Recycling applications, feature the Adaptive Motor Power (AMP) function, unique in the size reduction industry. The granulator is able to autonomously establish which power level to adopt to carry out its work, according to quantity of material to be ground, shape, weight, thickness, type of plastic, and temperature of the piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
